Some research shows that we have 1600 curses on TV per week here in Holland. That's 80.000 per year. It shows that the government funded channels have 1,1 curses per hour, compared to commercial channels with 1,3 curses per hour. The youth station BNN, that airs on a government funded channel has 7,7 curses per hour...! Gomidammit thats fucking much! Worst commercial channel is Veronica with 2,4 curses, oh well, they'll get there im sure... The religious stations have least swearing, 0,0 and 0,2 curses per hour. Now they are asking for less swearing on tv, heh, asif it influences the kids...they know swearing before they ever change from cartoons to adult tv... It's always weird, what they should do is jail adults that break traffic laws, especially on bikes, not ban cursing from tv. Ever had some old hag run a red light and ending up giving you the finger for almost running her over ? Or some geezer on his bike running a red light while some kids are waiting for it to turn green ? Now those are bad influences, bah.

Dog eat...uhm...Balls! A German sheperd belonging to a Manchester Golfclub uhm, manager, loved fetching golf balls. The 1,5 year old bitch, Libby, fetched every ball the man threw, but he never noticed she didn't drop any on returning. When suddenly the dog gave up some blood and wouldn't eat anymore the owner was clueless. The vet however wasn't clueless, he could hear and feel the balls, she ate them. The vets at the practice started betting how many balls were in the dogs belly, the highest number guessed was 11. The operation lasted 2,5 hours and cost the owner 900 Euro's. The result ? 28 golfballs!!!! Darn dude, a dog with 28 golfballs in its belly! They weighed 2,5 kilo's, darn.

Expecting the worst. Research showed that women who worry about the financial and social concequences of getting an AI pregnancy have more chance of not getting pregnant. Results showed that 19% of worried women would not get pregnant after having an AI treatment. And in cases where they were extremely worried it was up to 30%. Women worried about the costs of the treatment had more miscarriages then others. I take it this research reflects on any pregnancy... The mind is a wondrous thing, so keep those stress levels at a minimum! GameBoy killed the Television cartoon star...lalalaaaaaa No really they did! On 21 June Nintendo will be releasing special packs with episodes of Pokemon on them. A pack can hold 2-4 episodes and will cost about 20 bucks. Other cartoon are to follow including : SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly Oddparents, Dora the Explorer and Codename: Kids Next Door, as well as franchise favorites like All Grown Up!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Strawberry Shortcake and Sonic X. And the Gameboy's can play them without having to buy more peripherals! yay! All i need now is a Gameboy...and maybe like the cartoons...hmmm

The Man... Monks of the Order of Fransiscus of Assissi are asking Mel Gibson to make a movie about the founder of their order. It should be called Man of The Passion. They want it because Frasiscus is the most important figure in the Roman-Catholic church and very important in Christianity. I wonder what will be next...? ...with a pinch of human In the Mexican province of Michoacan police arrested a man who was selling tamales with human flesh in them. After an anonymous tip police entered his house and found various body parts in different rooms. Some had already been cooked and were ready to be tamalezed :P Weirdo! The body parts belonged to a murdered man who is yet to be identified. I wonder how many people ate it...? :P

Kid. A German couple put their daughter up for sale on E-bay last saturday. The 8 year old daughter was up for sale for 1 euro. The message gave various reason to buy her : "You can play with her, eat her at a barbequeparty, or sell her to gypsy's." When the police was notified of the sale on E-bay there had already been 100 visitors and bids were up to 25,50. The couple declared it was joke to see what sorts of adverts E-bay would place. E-bay took it down as fast as possible, days later. Stalking. A woman in Holland was going a bit overboard on her stalking tactics. She called a man she had problems with some 30.000 times in a 3 month period. Not all calls were to him , she also called friends and family of his. Most calls were made at night and didnt find answer. But when there was an answer she would either hang up or start cursing. Freaky Freaky! No Record. Norris McWhirter, creator of the Guiness Book of Records died this week at an age of 78. Together with his twin brother Ross he first published the book in 1955. Since then they sold 100million copies in 100 countries and 37 languages. They were also "famed" for their organisation Freedom Association, an organisation against the involvement of Britain in the European Union. Ross got killed in 1975 by the IRA for his outspoken opinion on the situation in Northern Ireland. In 1986 Norris stopped as publisher of the book and only served as an advisor for the next ten years. He died of a heartattack.

Water What ? No beer ? Nope! Hehe! Not in Germany anyway. Last year was the first ever year Germans drank more mineral water then beer... They drank 129 liters of water against "only" 117 liters of beer, each. Coffee however is still the #1 drink in Germany with 150 liters per person. Like father like...uhm...thing... Kelly Osbourne went into rehab this weekend. She always denied doing drugs, but after Ozzy found a whole bunch of pills in her bag there was no denying it. Apparently she was addicted to pain medication Man or Mouse ? Now this is an invention... Scientists breeded (or created) a mouse with a human immunsystem (typo?) When they infect the mouse with an illness its immunsystem reacts just like a human's would. This should help a lot with Aids research. They created the mouse by introducing human cells from an umbilical cord into the newborn mouse's liver. These cells have no function when introduced and adjust to the surrounding cells to get function.

Copycat A safari guide in one of the biggest South-African wildlife parks, Hluhluwe-Umfolozi, has been killed by an elephant. Fortune Mkhize, nephew of the director of the park was leading a group of tourists on a multiple day trip together with another guide. One morning they broke up camp and went on their way. Not long after that they ran into an elephant, it was some 150ft from them. Slowly they pulled back cos the elephant got aggitated when suddenly the elephant charged. Fortune called "Go go go!" and they all started running. Guides always carry heavy shotguns for situations like this, and are allowed to shoot any animal that endangers the group. Fortune however thought they could get away, and didnt shoot. Onfortunatly (no pun intended?) he fell, and the elephant trampled him. The others got away. Bugger dude, trying to be nice to the elephant, and it flattens you like a pancake, and the group witnessed it all :S But then again, that's an elephant, an animal, humans behave even worse as we saw yesterday in the news :S X2 sets mode +m No voice for you! Doh! The 6 actors that do the voices for The Simpsons are on a strike. They are looking to force a deal with Twentieth Century Fox for long contracts and more cash. They now make 125.000 dollar per episode but want 360.000 dollar. With 22 episodes per season thats a nice lil' 8 million per season. Darn, i'd do the entire series for 1 mill ;) In 1998 they made 30.000 per episode, darn , i need to have a word with my boss... The contracts of Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson, grampa, Barney, Krusty the Clown), Hank Azaria (Moe, Chief Wiggum, Apu) , Harry Shearer (Mr. Burns, Smithers, Ned Flanders), Julie Kavner (Marge Simpson, Patty & Selma), Yeardley Smith (Lisa Simpson) en Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson, Nelson, Ralph Wiggum) ended a few months ago and there is still no solution. On an earlier strike it got settled while Fox was already shopping around for new voices. Punysher Why did they cast a sissy as The Punisher ? Why!!!!!!!!???????????? GMail Microsoft and Yahoo are after Google. Both companies are looking to steal the search engine crown. Microsoft, as always, will do this by adding theirs into the Windows infrastructure. Sue them now and you might get a few million ;) Yahoo broke away from the Google technology and are busy creating their own search engine. And Google ? Google just announced they are starting a new service, g-mail. G-mail is the same as Hotmail and Yahoomail, a free email service, but a little different. Google wants to offer more storage, because most people want to same their mail "forever" With Google looking to join the stock exchange they are estimated at being worth 15 billion dollars, and this idea just added a few more. Sm(a)s(h) ! What ? Well, there was a women and her mobile phone, they were taking a drive in their car. The woman was happily typing away on her phone when suddenly this traffic light jumped out of nowhere and she ran a red light. Then asif the traffic light wasnt enough suddenly 2 elderly people jumped infront of her car in their own car. The old woman decided to die, and the old man decided to be seriously injured... I wonder what the old man's story is... Anyway, the judge didnt quite believe this version and took away the womans license, and gave her a vine and a 240 hours working uhm , punishment...uhm...whats it called...? Suicide on film A tape has surfaced on a porn site that shows a guy killing himself in the lobby of a building. It is from a security camera and the police are now searching for the person that put it online. Apparently the guy killed himself in the building his girlfriend works in after they had a fight. Someone in the family found the video online (on the porn site, naughty naughty) and called the police.
