Finally it's happened...
I finally bought a new camera!
I've been walking around for 1,5 years now telling everybody about this great new Canon I was going to get "soon". In all that time the camera changed name from Digital Rebel to 300D and from Hi-end semi-pro to #1 selling middle-end amateur cam. And still I didn't have one.
So the passed 2 weeks something changed... A new contender for the title "Yummy I want one" came into focus (pun intended), so I went from drooling 5 times a week in front of a shop window to 10 times a week. After checking a bunch of Digital Camera websites atleast 4 times a day I finally made up my mind...or did I ?
Today during my lunch break...which I always take at 4:30 in the afternoon...I went by my droolingspot again and stood there pondering my options...and they evened out, again. So I went for a stroll and when I came back...they evened out, AGAIN. So I went back to work.
Work again went into overtime, and I spend most of it weighing the two competitors, seeing which heavyweight would gain a slight advantage over the other. I decided to look on a site I used to visit a few times a week and even posted a few photo of mine on to be judged... And there it was, the decisive moment that K.O-ed the reigning champion, a T.K.O to be precise. The Canon had dropped below the required weight requirements and ws out of the competition, Booya!
Thursday night is Buy Night for most shops in Holland, which means they stay open till 9 instead of till 6. So to the shop I went to buy the camera, while really I should have been home for dinner. Ka-ching! "That will be 1274,95 please"
