A Two Sided Story
The new Renault Megane, that sold 45.000 cars in Britain alone, has a defect on the braking system.
The car is like the European model, only the steering wheel has been moved to the right.
When someone in the frontside passenger seat moves their foot up in the legspace and pushes he/she can accidentally brake...
A passenger found out after she turned around to talk to the children in the backseat.
Cancer and the City
Research shows that between 6500 and 9500 people in Paris die due to polution of the air. Small particles from cars and trucks exhaust fumes cause cancer and hart disease. 6-11% of the yearly deaths due to cancer can be related to these fumes. A Parisian has a 8% bigger chance of getting lungcancer then a person living in the country side. One death stands equal to about 900.000 euro's of economical damage, far more then toll and extra tax on gas bring up.
Man bites Dog
A man who was being arrested for raping a young mother in Durban bit the police-officer and the dog that were chasing him...:P
But he didn't get away...hehe...he bit the officer in the finger and he had to go to hospital...the dog was okay and bit back...:)
Caught in the Act
A photographer who was taking a picture of a fisherman for a paper accidentally also took a picture of a crime being commited. A woman reading the paper saw the picture and....saw a guy on a scooter, with her bike on his shoulder in the background...
He had stolen the bike and passed by just as the picture was taken. The woman went to the police and an officer recognized the thief. He was arrested but hasn't told who he sold it to yet...
Hehe, silly him :P
