Microsoft was looking to stop support for Win98 and Win98SE on januari 16th and help for WinME on the 31st of december. Africa and Asia threatened to kick his as though so Billy decided to continue support till 2006 instead... 20% of the worlds PC's still use Win95 or Win98, so stopping the help would be silly, easpecially to the poor buggers in 3rd world countries. The WIPO, an organisation that decide who holds rights to what domain, told them to hand it over.
